Dr. Stephanie Gaillard
Medical Oncologist
Johns Hopkins Medicine
Dr. Stéphanie Gaillard is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of ovarian cancer and other gynecologic cancers. She is an assistant professor of oncology, and an assistant professor of gynecology and obstetrics at Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. And, she is the director of gynecologic cancer trials for the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Gaillard earned her medical degree and doctoral degree in cancer biology from Duke University. Following medical school, she completed her residency training in internal medicine and her fellowship training in medical oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine.
Dr. Gaillard's research focuses on developing clinical trials that aim to improve ovarian cancer outcomes by incorporating promising new biologic, targeted, and immune therapies into standard treatment regimens. Another aspect of her research focuses on resistance to current treatments.
