Dr. Kenneth Anderson

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Dr. Kenneth Anderson has been leading the field of Multiple Myeloma research for more than two decades. He currently serves as Director of the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center and LeBow Institute for Myeloma Therapeutics at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is chief of the Division of Hematologic Neoplasia, Vice Chair of the Joint Program in Transfusion Medicine at Dana-Farber. He is also a Kraft Family Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Anderson completed hematology, medical oncology, and tumor immunology training at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he is also Co-Leader of the Lymphoma and myeloma DF/HCC program. His laboratory efforts focus on translational research in multiple myeloma. He is the recipient of many scientific and humanitarian awards including the the David Workman Memorial Award from the Samuel Waxman Research Foundation and the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center Annual Zubrod Memorial Award in 2014, and the the Leonard P. Zakim Patient Advocacy Award in 2013.
