While most men do suffer from some compromised sexual function after prostate cancer treatment, the degree to which you will personally be affected depends on a number of factors including your age and the intensity and duration of treatment. The data does show that in the long term, there really is no difference in sexual function between men who undergo surgery vs. radiation.
