After an ovarian cancer diagnosis, a lot of women wonder how their sex lives will be affected. After all, if you’re having surgery, part of the female reproductive system is being removed — and that can have a major impact on how sexual a woman feels. The good thing is, women can definitely have sex after ovarian cancer treatment — and for the most part, can have sex in the same way they were before treatment.
There will be a healing period after surgery, and some women may experience side effects like vaginal dryness, but for the most part these issues will heal with time or can be treated relatively easily.
